Initially MUGA membership and use is restricted to members of our community or those with strong ties, this is to ensure the maximum opportunity for our community to use this exciting new facility.
If you wish to become a member please visit the third party Booking System https://fastcourts.com/clubs/HCMUGA and submit a message to the MUGA Team via the “Contact Admin Team” on the right of the page or at the bottom for mobiles. Please include the following and we will then send you your log in details and password:
Once you are a member you can simply log on to the Booking System and book your court time via the “Courts” button on the top or “MUGA Pitch” on the right. You will receive an automatic confirmation email of your booking and then just turn up and play. You will have the option to log into your Profile and hide your contact details from all other members if you so wish.
Membership is free for the first year of the MUGA being open however donations are welcome to help with the upkeep. If you are interested in donating please do add a note your message and we will send you information on how to easily donate. The MUGA Club will decide how funds are raised to cover the annual management and maintenance costs for the following years.
The court is located on the playing field opposite Church and Community Hall in Hintlesham and has a lighting facility with use limited until 22:00 to respect our local residents. The facility will not be locked, however if abuse of the facility is found then the court may move to have restricted access.
The court is reserved after school for children to use (15:00-17:00, Mon-Fri in term time). Bookings are to be made in 1 hour slots, starting on the hour, for example 11:00-12:00. The maximum number of back to back bookings is two which would give two hours play, for example 13:00-15:00. Advance bookings can only be made up to 6 weeks in advance if there is a requirement beyond this please contact the Admin team. Initially the court is only for use by members of our community with their friends, family and guests. In the future we may open to those outside our community at an additional charge.
Any of our community involved in teams or clubs which wish to use the facility with their club are welcome, they just need to ensure they are a MUGA Club member and that they play in the games. Therefore at least one person playing would be a member of the MUGA Club and therefore also part of o1ur community. There will be a fee of £20 per hour for these games to help fund the annual management and maintenance of the facility.
